YOGI - COURSE ONE
There is a point on our yoga journey when a deep part of us yearns to know more and to have access to teachings beyond the scope of our weekly class or a yoga holiday. We wish to be coached and taught at a higher level and to unapologetically call ourself yogi.
This is a yoga foundation course like no other; to immerse yourself in the precious art of yoga practice for your growth, self care, life-skills and soul connection. Elegantly weaving ancient teachings with contemporary context, participants are mentored through their personal journey as you learn to confidently incorporate the valuable tools of yoga into life.
THIS COURSE HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO BE AS RELEVANT TO THE COMMITTED YOGA PRACTITIONER AS IT IS TO THE ASPIRING TEACHER TRAINER
During this course you will immerse yourself in the practices of meditation, pranayama and asana cultivating the practices of Patanjali’s eight limb path, embodying the habits of yoga into your life and lifestyle.
Asana, meditation, pranayama, yoga philosophy, nutrition, chanting, moon work, the art of ceremony and clinical psychology therapy techniques are incrementally woven as discerning habits to help you live a contemplative and full existence. This is considered the foundation work required prior to becoming a yoga teacher.
